The program is being implemented in five villages: Kumeli, Bandabhaisa, Rajapur, Maniharidand, and Kandabadi.
A total of 194 malnourished children between 6 months and 5 years of age are benefiting from this program.
The main activities under the program include daily distribution of Amul milk and Parle-G biscuits to all enrolled children, regular health check-ups and weight monitoring to track progress, nutrition and hygiene awareness sessions for mothers, and pre-school learning activities such as songs, picture books, and group play sessions.
The program has achieved noticeable improvements in children’s attendance and weight gain. Parents have become more aware of the importance of nutrition and hygiene, and children are showing better energy levels and social participation.
In conclusion, the Pre-School Nutrition and Education Program has been highly beneficial for undernourished children in rural areas. The organization plans to expand this initiative to more villages in the coming months to ensure that every child enjoys a healthy and educated childhood.
